2003年,山西大学光学专业,获理学博士学位。2005-2006年,法国国家科学中心Aime Cotton实验室博士后研究,主要研究里德堡原子的激发阻塞效应及其应用。2007年,建立了超高真空磁光阱系统,从事超冷里德堡原子分子的理论和实验研究。2011年1-4月,法国国家科学中心Aime Cotton实验室访问学者,主要从事超冷里德堡原子的多体共振相互作用的研究。 2016-2017年,密歇根大学物理系高级访问学者,主要研究巨型里德堡分子的制备和束缚机制。目前主要从事超冷里德堡分子的制备及光谱特性;基于里德堡原子的射频传感器和量子通讯;超冷里德堡原子的弱光非线性效应;外场操控下里德堡原子的相互作用等的理论和实验研究。主讲本科生,原子物理学,电磁学,超冷原子实验等课程。主持国家自然科学基金重点项目一项和面上项目四项,同时主持省部级项目多项。作为项目研究骨干,参与973国家重大研究计划3项及国家和省部级课题多项。发表相关学术论文90余篇。 |

主要研究方向: 超冷铯里德堡分子(Ultracold Rydberg molecules) 里德堡分子具有不同寻常的束缚机制、丰富的振动能级和永久的电偶极矩等光谱特性,比里德堡原子更容易受到外场的操控,在微弱信号检测中具有潜在的应用价值。里德堡分子根据其束缚机制的不同分为两种,一种为基态-里德堡分子,由里德堡电子与基态原子的低能电子散射束缚而形成。另一种是里德堡-里德堡分子,由里德堡原子间的长程电多极相互作用束缚而形成。我们从理论数值计算了里德堡分子的绝热势能曲线,实验上利用光缔合方法制备了里德堡-里德堡分子和基态-里德堡分子,研究其束缚机制、振动能级和永久电偶极矩等光谱特性。 基于里德堡EIT的射频场测量 (Rydberg atom-based radio-frequency field measurement) 由于原子本身性质的恒定不变性,使其能够实现自校准的外场测量。里德堡原子具有很大的极化率,对外场非常敏感,可以实现微波场和射频电场的测量。利用微波场(1-500GHz)耦合相邻里德堡原子的能级;射频场(0.01-1GHz)调制里德堡能级而形成的里德堡AC Stark频移和射频边带;由一种全光学传感方式电磁感应透明(EIT)探测微波场耦合形成的A-T分裂和射频场的边带光谱可以实现免校准宽带电磁场的高精密测量。同时里德堡原子作为原子传感器可实现调制信号的直接读出,进而实现基于原子的量子音乐和量子通讯,具有广泛的应用前景。
超冷里德堡原子的强光联效应 (The correlation effect of ultracold Rydberg) 里德堡原子EIT提供了一种全光学的无损探测新方法,利用里德堡EIT可以把原子之间的相互作用映射到EIT光谱中,使人们可以更好地了解多体相互作用的动力学行为及其强关联量子效应。 而里德堡原子间的长程相互作用阻止了相邻原子的进一步激发,形成激发阻塞效应,在激发阻塞区域内,有且只有一个里德堡原子可与被激发到里德堡态,形成强关联里德堡多体系统。研究基于里德堡阻塞效应的非经典光源的制备和操控以及弱光非线性效应。同时利用里德堡原子之间强相互作用以及阻塞效应实现2D和3D多比特量子系统,研究基于里德堡原子的量子模拟和量子计算。
外场操控下里德堡原子干涉仪 (Rydberg atom interferometer in external field) 里德堡原子极化率大,对电场敏感。利用外电场调节里德堡原子的能级,实现里德堡原子的Forest共振相互作用。nS原子与相邻的多重态形成态混合与避免交叉,控制电场可制备具有很大偶极矩的高-l态,同时调节电场两次经过避免交叉点时,可形成外场调控的原子干涉仪,利用原子干涉信号实现了Stark能级间隔的测量,突破了跃迁选择定则的限制,提供了一种传统光谱不能完成的测量Stark能级的新方法。
