ZHANG Lei is a professor and doctoral advisor at State Key Laboratory of Quantum Optics and Quantum Optics Devices, Institute of Laser Spectroscopy, Shanxi University. He has been selected as Shanxi Province 100-Plan Talent Program in 2017 and young talent of the Shanxi Province "SanJin Talents" Support Program in 2019. He has presided over 4 funds, including the national and provincial funds. He has developed many quantum transport theories and algorithms that have been used widely in commercialized and non-commercialized softwares. In the recent five years, he has also published 42 SCI-cited papers with 29 written as the first or corresponding author, including Nature, Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. B, ACS Photonics, Nanoscale, etc.
