MA Jie is currently the vice President of Shanxi University. He has been awarded the National Science Fund for Excellent Youth, Model Teacher of Shanxi Province, the May 4th Youth Medal of Shanxi Province, outstanding of "SanJin Talents", top Ten Outstanding scientific and technological workers of Shanxi Province. As a Principal Investigator, he has hosted 9 funds, including the national and provincial funds. He has developed high sensitive photoassociation spectroscopy of ultracold molecules, the quantum coherence effects in ultra-cold atomic molecular systems, and the all-optical preparation of Bose gases. As a first contributor, he was granted the first prize of the Scientific and Technological Cooparation Award of Shanxi Province. In recent five years, he has also published 42 SCI-cited papers, including Phys. Chem. Lett., Appl. Phys. Lett., Phys. Rev. A and Opt. Lett., etc., written as a corresponding author.
