Jizhou Wu

Biography

Dr. Jizhou Wu is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Laser Spectroscopy at Shanxi University. He obtained his PhD in atomic and molecular physics, in 2012 in Shani University. He had his first postdoctoral position at the University of Nottingham as a Royal Society KCWong Postdoctoral Fellow. He has been promoted as an associate professor from Dec. 2015.

Dr. Jizhou Wu has worked on a number of topics in atomic, molecular and optical physics, including the formation of ultracold molecules using Photoassociation technique, light-matter interactions, ultracold homo-&heteronuclear molecules, atomic Bose-Einstein Condensation, and quantum simulation with ultracold atoms and molecules. Currently, his research focuses on creation and manipulation of ultracold polar NaCs molecules.
